So last week I am at the Horseshoe for "breakfast" as Harrahs was on limited hours, I have been playing for 5 days and as always got my ticket to go. In the evening i return around 5.30pm to check the earlier ticket and to enjoy "cocktail" hour before heading for dinner and a night of Blackjack or Pai-gow, or a show. When it gets to 10am i'll have a couple of beers and then leave for whatever plans I have for the day., ensuring that i buy a 10 game ticket to go. My normal routine is to pickup a Starbucks in the morning around 9am and have "breakfast" in the lounge playing through to about 11am. In Vegas time is money, so playing keno despite the house edge, is one way to manage the budget whilst still having fun gambling. I remember the days when every Casino had a keno lounge, had boards throughout the Casino and runners across the cafe's and across the Casino floor. The Horseshoe staff said that they would be looking to increase opening hours and likely re-arrange the lounge in response to the closure. I will miss the great staff, vibe and excellent CW service at Harrahs. The only live keno lounge on the strip will be at the Horseshoe moving forward. The Staff told me that the lounge would close on the 27th November. Its part of my routine to play keno and for many years have played at Harrahs.
